Monsters don’t always have monstrous appeareances. Sometimes they are a bored lordling who regards toys as more important than actual life. Esmodin is one such a human monster. Yet another reason for the dissolution of the Houses. They all have their secrets, yes, but his particular disregard for human life is above contempt. He is seeking a way to animate his toys in better ways than he currently is able. As it is, his dolls are the stuff of nightmares and are the source of much torment and diabolism. Unfortunately, he is protected, in more ways than one.

I know of the man. A complete dullard. Doesn’t even hold any balls, much less attend them. And he’s always got some creepy doll he’s showing off and caressing. Gives me the creeps. The Royal Heralds have a standing bounty on information about his secretive doings, but nobody has managed to claim one silver yet.
Swan Ramala
Esmodin was a noble from Karam, born and raised in Pennaligon. He was always fascinated with the marionette shows the tutor his father hired would perform for him on his birthday. Eventually, his bloodline surfaced when his tutor’s creations were revealed to be Eldar inventions, and the tutor was jailed. Esmodin went on to harness his power to animate the inanimate, creating clockwork toys that had a trace of sentience, allowing him to control them.
After his father died and he took over the family affairs, TradeHouse Couralin became a secret sponsor of the Circle of Iron, and Esmodin used his creations to lure in potential targets. He only cares about gathering more information on how to animate the inanimate, and seeks specific ways to create different kinds of golems.
