Even the ArchSeer never knew what this creature is. I believe I could have enlightened him, with some of the revelations I have been given. Alas, I will have to wait until I can speak to him in person. Hopefully soon.
The Beggar King
The Jester is a being that emerged from the mountains during the Eternal Day, but the people of the Imperial Land peninsula say that he’s always been there. A seemingly immortal being that disappears for generations, then reappears to rescue a lost child or return stolen goods to a needy family, the Jester is more of a myth given form than an actual person, a folk story told in the mountain of a protector tied to the Land. Regardless, he has shown considerable power in his dealings with Keleris and the yuanti. It is due to his influence that the Isle of Slaves came under the banner of the Imperial Land.
There are stories that he is the manifestation of Emperor Rylos Athenon, the founder of the Athenon Empire. This is believed because the Jester is sometimes seen carrying around a faded and torn banner of the old Empire.
