The surface of the silver moon is constantly breaking apart from internal pressures, and it throws debris into space. During the full Syrtul moon, there is a chance of the debris plummeting to Dakaron as a meteorite. These uncommon lodes are immediately plundered for the little bit of serviceable ore that can be used, usually by locals and bandits, but also by the Planetary Scholarship which tracks the showers.
