History: The shi are rumored to be the only civilized race not descended or created by the Eldar. Mitaka-Shi, or the Land of Silk, is ruled by a severe caste system. Hundreds of years ago, there was a great revolution, and three families were exiled from the Island, the Venomous Triad. Determined to return triumphant, the three clans (Spider, Cobra, and Scorpion) moved to the mainland and founded Ihaka (meaning Vengeance of Venom in the shi tongue). Ihaka is the only other country where shi are a common sight, and though the Kän are suspicious and guarded around strangers, they are more than willing to treat others with dignity and honor. They try to control access to the island nation of Mitaka-Shi. They are rumored to still secretly keep a presence on the island, however.

Ruling Entity: Venomous Triad

Items of Interest: In a strange twist, the Venomous Triad themselves are being monitored. The fourth clan, Wyvern, went completely incognito, becoming nothing more than a rumor and a story. They infiltrated every clan on the island and the country of Ihaka, as well as many organizations and countries in the south. Their goal is to obliterate all knowledge and mention of the Mikado-Shi.

Foreign Policy: The Venomous Triad has an open trade agreement with Icos, Pheronor, the Calim Estates, and Karam. In addition, they have contractual military agreements with several Sim pirate companies and raiders from Ward Cove to patrol the seas around the Land of Silk. They used to have open contracts with the Three Cities as well, but after the Eternal Day, these were all dissolved by Tula Radul.

Associated Organizations: The Venomous Triad, the Flying Scarves, the Dark Brotherhood, the Shadow Auction, the Circle of Iron, the Order of Ibis, the Shadowmind Guild, the Walkers in the Waste, the Sigil Order, the Clan of the Dancing Eye, Green Mothers
